About the Class

At OGCG, we believe a positive breastfeeding journey begins with knowledge, preparation, and support. Led by our experienced lactation consultant, Gabi Eckereder, this warm and welcoming class offers practical advice, reassurance, and a strong foundation for breastfeeding success. Gabi brings both evidence-based care and a holistic approach, empowering mums to trust their instincts and feel confident through every stage.

More than just a breastfeeding class, this session also offers insight into the early days with your newborn. You’ll learn gentle, evidence-based sleep and settling strategies to help you navigate this precious — and sometimes overwhelming — time with greater ease and confidence.

What to Expect in Our Class

In a small, intimate group setting (we recommend you bring a support person), you’ll receive expert advice in a relaxed and supportive environment. You’ll learn practical breastfeeding techniques, ways to overcome challenges, and how to tune into your baby’s needs with confidence.

Gabi, who is also a sleep & settling consultant trained in Neuroprotective Developmental Care (The Possums Approach), will guide you through newborn sleep patterns and gentle approaches to settling your baby.

More about Gabi

Gabi is a Registered Midwife (rm) and an international board qualified Lactation Consultant (ibclc).She has also also trained in gentle myofascial therapy for breastfeeding related issues. Gabi consults in the OGCG rooms on a Friday, is available for Face to Face appointments, Telehealth as well as in home visits. For more information, please see below forher website.

    All classes will be conducted in the OGCG rooms. Patients will receive an email with resources after the presentation.
