Dr Mooska Raoofi is a Specialist Gynaecologist, who has specialised extra training in evaluating and treating patients with pelvic floor dysfunction. Her clinical and academic work is dedicated to the management of prolapse, incontinence, pelvic pain, and pelvic reconstructive surgery, with a particular focus on minimally invasive and robotic approaches.
Mooska has completed 6 years of Obstetrics and Gynaecology training and a further 3 years of subspecialty fellowship in Urogynaecology in Australia and in the UK. In 2023, she was awarded the Urogynaecological Fellowship through the Urogynaecological Society of Australasia, undertaken at the Royal Women’s Hospital, Melbourne. Her fellowship project focused on the preoperative and intraoperative assessment of the uterosacral ligaments in women undergoing pelvic organ prolapse surgery.
In the same year, she was also awarded the Epworth Audrey Voss Gynaecological Research Grant, recognising her commitment to advancing women’s health through research and innovation.
In 2025 Dr Mooska Raoofi spent six months as an honorary clinical fellow in urogynaecology at Addenbrooke’s University Hospital in Cambridge, working within a specialist NHS mesh complications centre.
Her current hospital appointments include Consultant Gynaecologist in the Pelvic Floor Unit at The Royal Women’s Hospital and Consultant Gynaecologist in the Urogynaecology Unit at Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s Hospital. Mooska also work as a surgical assistant and Advanced Clinical Research Fellow at the Pelvic Floor Centre for Excellence at Epworth Freemasons. In private practice, Dr Mooska consults in North Melbourne, East Melbourne and Geelong. She operates at Frances Perry House and Epworth Freemasons.
