Obstetrician & Gynaecologist MBBS (Hons), FRANZCOG
My passion for medicine began in childhood and grew into a love for Obstetrics and Gynaecology during my medical school years. Since 2003, I have had the privilege of working in this field, delivering over 2,000 babies and guiding families through one of the most special moments of their lives.
As an Obstetrician, I feel incredibly lucky to support women on their journey to motherhood. I provide comprehensive care, from pre-conception counselling to optimise health before pregnancy, through antenatal care, labour, and birth, and into the postnatal period. My expertise includes normal births, instrumental deliveries, Caesarean births, and TOLAC/VBAC births, ensuring that every patient receives the care that best suits their needs. I also assist with post-birth recovery and future contraception, including IUD and Implanon insertions.
Above all, I treat every patient and their family with the same level of care and compassion I would give to my own.
Private Obstetrics allows me to build trusting relationships with my patients, tailoring care to their individual needs. I take the time to listen and understand what matters most to each woman, combining the latest medical evidence with a personal approach. The safety of both mother and baby is always my top priority, but I also believe that birth should be a positive and empowering experience. It is important to me that my patients feel respected, supported, and actively involved in every decision about their care.
I enjoy looking after all types of pregnancies, whether they are straightforward or high-risk. The journey to parenthood is unique for everyone, and I am honoured to guide my patients through both the joys and challenges of fertility, pregnancy, and birth. I have a special interest in surrogacy pregnancies, same-sex couples, and single mothers by choice, providing inclusive and compassionate care to all families.
Beyond obstetrics, my gynaecological expertise lies in the diagnosis and management of Cervical Dysplasia (Colposcopy). I am a Certified Colposcopist with C-QuIP and hold a Consultant position at the Colposcopy Clinic at the Royal Women’s Hospital.
My commitment to public healthcare allows me to contribute to the wider medical community while staying up to date with the latest advancements in women’s health.
I was born in Belarus and moved to Australia during high school. Outside of work, I love spending time with family and friends, traveling, exploring different cultures, enjoying the outdoors and experiencing live performances, from concerts to musical theatre!
I am passionate about personal growth, well-being, and living a healthy lifestyle—values that guide both my personal and professional life.
