While your primary obstetrician will be your main point of contact, you’ll also have the opportunity to meet the other doctors in our practice during your pregnancy. Labour and delivery care is shared among the OGCG team, with our obstetricians rotating weekend cover on a one-in-five basis and taking turns being on call one night each week. This approach ensures you always receive safe, personalised care—day or night—by a doctor who is well-rested, familiar with your pregnancy, and has immediate access to your complete medical history. It also means that the person looking after you during labour and birth will always be a trusted and familiar face from the OGCG team.
From pre-conception through to pregnancy, birth, and the postnatal period, our care is all-encompassing.
In addition to personalised obstetric care, OGCG offers a wide range of in-house services to support you throughout your pregnancy journey. These include on-site ultrasounds and CTG monitoring, women’s health physiotherapy, lactation consultations, perinatal mental health support, and in-house antenatal education classes. We also have a team of four highly experienced midwives, all of whom also work at Frances Perry House. They are available to see and speak with you in our rooms Monday to Friday, providing additional guidance and support throughout your pregnancy.
Our friendly secretarial team plays a key role in making your experience as smooth and stress-free as possible. They will assist in booking all of your ultrasounds and are always available to answer any administrative questions you may have. From your first appointment to the moment you meet your baby, we are here to support you every step of the way.
We feel truly privileged to work within such a collaborative, supportive, and experienced team. For each of us, obstetrics is not just a profession—it’s a passion. We are deeply committed to walking alongside you during one of the most transformative and meaningful times in your life, and we consider it an honour to be part of your journey to parenthood.
